Tbilisi will host festival “ Days of Ukrainian cinema” for the second time from 16 to 20th of March. Cinema -forum will be opened on 16th of March with the panel discussion on the theme “Cooperation in the sphere of cinema between Ukraine and Georgia- experience and prospects” in which representatives of state cinema funds, as well as, Ukrainian and Georgian producers will take part .

In the framework of round table will be discussed a situation in film industry of Georgia and Ukraine, successful cases of movies of joint production (“Parajanov”, “Ursus”, “Blind Dates”) , the prospects of co-production projects, as well as, experience of Georgia in the framework of program “ Creative Europe”.

We would also like to remind you, that in the program of showings “Days of Ukrainian cinema in Tbilisi”   are included the following movies: “Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors” of Sergey Parajanov, “Captivity” of Anatoli Mateshko, “Haytarma” of Akhmet Seitablaiev, “The Living Fire” of Ostap Kostyuk, as well as anthology of animated movies and anthology of short films “Modern Ukrainian cinema”.
