On March 27, the GCA (Georgian Cinematographers Association) reached a pivotal milestone during its general meeting, successfully electing a new Board and a President.

The election, conducted in strict accordance with the association’s statutes, saw a decisive vote from the membership. Five prominent members—Vigen Vartanov, Tato Kotetishvili, Mikheil Kvirikadze, Kakha Mshvidobadze, and Giorgi Shvelidze—secured the mandates necessary to form the Board of Directors for the upcoming two-year term.

In its first official act, the newly seated board convened to elect the organization’s leadership. By a majority vote, Vigen Vartanov was appointed President of the association.
